The reason we to come together.

Juneteenth began on June 19, 1865, when the end of slavery was announced in Texas, more than two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. Now recognized as a holiday in the US and Utah, Juneteenth celebrates the freedom of enslaved African Americans. It's a time to remember the past and honor African American culture with parades, festivals, and educational events. Juneteenth reminds us of the ongoing fight for equality and the importance of freedom for everyone.
